Notez from the Underground

It’s been a minute since I went in on a DJ mix. A little over 30 minutes of dope tunes. Moombahton on there of course, but also this is an expression of more of a darker vibe I’ve started to lean towards since listening to a lot of UK stuff (see the hostage, chimpo, and skream tracks). But still not so dark that it’s sad or won’t bang out in the club. It’s just smoother. I like to stay positive and have fun, you know? When I made PHANTOM ELEMENTZ, I was trying to put that vibe out there. Also, I jacked the title from the book Notes from the Underground. It’s appropriate, if you think really, really, really hard about it. LOL. Or just ask me about it when you see me.

***Edit: I left a song off the tracklist by mistake. The track after Mos Def - “Quiet Dog” is Mr. Vega - “Congaman.”  Then the rest of the tracks are as listed.
